My Story
I hold B.A. and M.S.W. degrees in Social Work. My career began working in group homes with children and individuals with disabilities. While raising my four sons, all of whom attended Franklin County Schools, I became deeply involved in the school system through PTA organizations. When the Franklin County Board of Education faced a crisis, I stepped forward and ran for the board. Through leadership education and coursework, I have continued to enhance my effectiveness as a board member and community leader, affirming my commitment to good governance and public education.
